About the auditions I had for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat... I was informed last night by who I think is the Asst. Director that they want to cast me. She said that they want me to be one of the twelve brothers, but it wasn't one of the ones with featured solo song. In order words, I didn't get the part I wanted. But, you know, when have I ever? The important thing is that a theatre that I have never been to, a theatre that has never seen my face before is casting me.
Rehersals start in October and the show starts its run in December. OY! I just realized that technically I'll be playing another Jew. That's two shows in a row... And this one is at Christmas time. There's something extremely funny about all of that...
If you're not familiar with Joseph, then let me tell you about one part. The Pharoah is supposed to be like Elvis. Which is frickinig hilarious to begin with. But, what I would like to see done is not play the part like "young Elvis," as is generally done. I would LOVE to see "Old, Fat Elvis" instead. Imagine the costume - a mix of royal Egyptian attire and rhinestone jumpsuits. That's MONEY!

W stands for...
I just thought that this was a great article about Dubya and the female vote. Seems ol' Bushie is claiming he's for women and their rights, but as you'll read, that isn't quite so.
W stands for what?
I really don't like this place to get too political. But seeing how this is the most important presidental election EVER, from time to time I will post things voters should consider.

The Eldest of the Children of Israel
So, I'm very quite excited right now. Reason being is I had a kick-ass audition on Monday for a local production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Well, a kick-ass singing audition at any rate. The dance moves, well, let's just say I am good at faking the dance moves. On that, please note that my calves are still sore from that hyperactive dance workout.
The reason I am excited is because I just got a phone call from the theatre and they want me to come in for callbacks on Monday. Not only that, but they want me to pick up some sheet music tomorrow so I can kind of learn one of the songs they want to hear me sing. The song they want me to learn is the one Reuben sings about poor Joseph's "death." That's A BIG CLUE that they are thinking of casting me as the eldest of the children of Israel. In case you haven't guessed yet, this is the part I wanted to play in this show. Looks like I might get that chance. Wish me luck...

Peeved
Don't you love it when you tell someone at work not to do something, but they do it anyway? You know, if they could just be patient for 10 minutes while you do something that has to be done that moment, then afterwards you could help explain to the right way to do what they need to get done.
But, it never works that way does it? NOOOOooo... They have to be all impatient and fuck it up. Thereby totally screwing you because you HAVE to use a certain computer for a certain task, but in their impatience, fucked up that certain computer rendering it useless for a period of time that surpasses your daily deadline.
Grrrr...

Little Tweaks
Well, I've been tweaking some code. Nothing that you'd really notice. I noticed that my guestbook got deleted. Apparently, I accidently violated Bravenet's terms of service. Seems like they don't like it when their membership emailers are reported to Yahoo! Mail as spam... heh... accidents happen... So, I'm sure it was a complete accident that they deleted my service account. So, all *four* of the guestbook entries are lost and gone forever...
So, now what? Well, I added a *NEW and IMPROVED* Guestbook with *ALL NEW QUESTIONS!!* Please feel free to sign in. Also, I added a guestmap so you can pinpoint exactly where you live (I promise I won't stalk you). Scroll around until you see the button on the sidebar to your left... What fun!!
Colts up 31-17! wOOt! Carolina ahead!
