I love it when I volunteer to do something I'm well-trained for and have done quite well in the past, but then the job isn't given to me. That way, when the job gets screwed up constantly, especially by the job-assigners, I can have a good hearty laugh. What makes it even funnier is knowing that time and energy were wasted by training two people to do a job that one person, who already knows what to do, volunteered for.
